No not crazy, just don’t buy in to the hype about a computer that:
    A. You can’t upgrade. You have buy a new one if you want the latest hard wear, you can’t just mod it.
    B. I tunes………THEE shittest music format I’ve ever known M4a is utter crap.
    C. The price doesn’t justify the tech. For half the price of an air book I could get my friend to build me a custom pc.
    D. The shitty company policies.
    E. The iPhone is just an accessory. It’s like the latest fashion.
    F. The things are very poorly built. I could take one part in 2 minutes easy. And I can guarantee they don’t go back to gather properly.
    G. The fact you have to pay and extra £30 for the charger adapter for the new iPhone.
    H. The screen is so easy to break. It’s not even gorilla glass!!
    I. The battery life is shocking. Even my HTC out guns one and I’m always on it.
    J. Apple can remotely fry your phone/MAC/whatever. If your doing something they don’t like, such as providing freeware, they can effectively terminate all your data. And then sue you for copywrite infringement.

So in the end…..Apple suck horse cock…hard. at least with android its freeware, so I can install Linux on to my phone.

Not to mention no removable battery, no upgradable memory, no plug and play capability, can’t bluetooth files between devices, very little compatibility with standard video and audio file formats so you have to convert everything (via itunes eeurgh!) I could go on but I’m already bored!

    Well I’m happy 🙂

Well – with everything its a personal decision,

…….I have a htc and I hate it!!

its shit, it keeps turning itself off everytime i make a call, and it turns itself off randomly during the day- it also often decides there is no memory available – yet I have no aps on it, it wont let me take photos or do much when its decided this – and I only have about 5 photos on it, and I have to take the battery out around 5 times a day to ‘soft’ something or other, and i have had to factory reset,
I contacted y provider and I am out of warranty and have to wait another 8 months for an upgrade and I couldn’t cope with this any longer!! I fucking hate this phone.
so personally I am happy having brought my mates phone off him thanks 🙂

I am not computer / phone savvy so something that I can navigate and have some fun with, look on the internet and enjoy – that works is good for me!!

But that’s not a phone, it not a tablet….its a……a……I don’t know what it is, but I will concur, they are sick. But just too big to be practical in social life, business life they’re second to none I’d think.

I wouldn’t use a iphone but I wasn’t too impressed by the HTC ones.

Two of my staff bought them Samsung phones which seem better (including the big slab thing) but if I’m going to send texts/emails on the thing I want something with a keyboard, hence why I still use a blackberry.

Otherwise I normally use mobile phones for the quaint old fashioned concept of talking to people, unless I’m anywhere near analogue audio equipment where they are a fucking nuisance and menace (GSM interference into the audio). If I want to take photos or listen to music or work out where I am I use separate devices for that rather than something what tries to do all of this at once and gets halfway there.

looks like a rehash of the PDA concept. the most I use the business functions on my blackberry for is the odd appointment reminder and even then I have to be careful as I use any of 5 computers at home and work, and though I try and back the mobile device correctly its easy to get confused and overwrite your contact/schedule files.

Yeah, a friend of mine’s HTC had exactly the same problems that you described.

The S2 is about the right size for me. I think the S3 is a little too big (the note is fekking huuuuuuuge). But I watch a lot of media on mine (I have gigs of movies and TV shows on there) and the screen is large, bright and very high def.
