It’s taken me years to decide what I want and find the right artist, so its just not for me
Fair play to those who have, and have just thought ‘what the fuck’ you only live once kinda thing,
But I’m into art and design so maybe this is why it isn’t for me.
TBH even in Northern European countries we have only just in the last 30 years got to a stage where folk with tattoos (especially girls/women) are viewed less judgementally and even then the industry is viewed suspiciously and heavily regulated/licensed today. (some friends of mine run a tattoo parlour)
So most of the parlours here are trained not just to check for legal age but also that it isn’t a impulse choice/dare as they could lose their business through not just govt action but bad publicity. I guess in other countries making a profit comes before common sense…
