None of us are free. The surveillance society and electronic age might be new but having no freedom isn’t. Although we’re probably marginally freer than anyone has been. The difference is we’re told to believe that we’re free when we’re not. We’re all slaves to consumerism and the wage system that milks our labor and the only thing we’re free to do is spend…
i thought you were on about this…
”yes I’m free”
we are all as free as we want to be
wrong
we are a slave if we choose to be….you are not FREE to spend…that is what they want you to do…………
…..be free….choose NOT to spend
How can someone get by without earning a living through being a part of the system?
hmmm…thats a tough one, a friend of mine lives in a remote place in Scotland where the people live off the land by growing their own food and not have to earn money from working to afford council tax, rent, mortgage, bills etc… self sufficiency is the only way..
self sufficiency is the only way
A bit tough if you live in a tower block in a big city. The problem is that the system is fundamentally unfair. The only thing people in this country have are varying degrees choice depending on their status in society. Isn’t that why lots of us here choose not to conform and get munted in a field all summer?
very true.. The only way to get away from surveillance is to live somewhere as remote as possible! And not have to depend on the system.
