Euch….I hate Avast. It sucked the life out of my PC and refused to allow me on the internet even when I had it disabled. So I had to remove it in safe mode and put AVG 8 back on. Although AVG 8 is hardly an improvement on 7, as its far too hungry it at leasts lets me do what I want without being harassed every 5 seconds or locked out of things I want to do.
What is it with antivirus’ and firewalls getting all fascist on us nowadays back in the day it sat in the background and kept us safe, whereas nowadays there hassling you about everything you do and checking everywhere for anything. The worst thing about them is you can’t even take them off without a special tool as they get that deep into the fcuking machine.
