could be yeah… although as far as we can tell animals from reptiles upwards have basic consciousness (aka primary consciousness) and dont have the higher reasoning powers we do. There are two levels of consciousness we know of so far.. there may be more :weee:

the universe ‘knows if we are watching’ and behaves differently if we are is really amazing to me.. all sorts of cunning experiments were devised to test this and the results are really astounding.
I know about the waves of posibility/partical’s . ~ (depending on wether your looknig or not) … I been trying to find out somewhere where they explain the experiments that they did to find this out – you have any info on the experiments them selves?

if you want a good amateur science novel on the subject I’d recommend this short book
In Search of Schrodinger's Cat: Amazon.co.uk: John Gribbin: Books
Wikipedia has info on the experiments, and links to other experiments on the right hand side
Double-slit experiment – Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Although this doesnt really discuss the implications of the results so much

Dr Quantum – Double Slit Experiment – YouTube
Here’s a bit of a simplified video of it. I studied physics at A-level and have done quite a bit of reading into it because I find it very fascinating from a technical and philosophical perspective, so if you have any more questions I can do my best to try to help. Basically because of the Heisenberg uncertainty principle, we can never know both the position and momentum of a particle. In that sense, we have no idea where things really are.
