Bad experience with MDMA ? Why?
I was drunk so clearly wasn’t thinking straight. I crushed up the entire gram into powder and snorted the entire amount up one nostril.
I think you answered your own question tbh …
Wow man, hope you learn from this. I’ve done some fucked up shit before when i was a bit younger then you with regards to MDMA, could of ended a lot worse.

I tried eating 0.5 of MD on an empty stomach once. Washed it down with a stella and it all came back up a few minutes later. Then a dog ate it.
What happened to the dog? Hope it was ok. It’s pretty grim watching dogs eat throw-up at the best of times, but Stella and Mandy throw-up? Eww….

a few years ago (at the tail end of the “cool britannia / superclub ” era in the early 2000s) the RCVS actually published a paper (I saw it when in service at Defra) expressing concern at a rise in emergency admissions to vets from domestic pets who had ingested their owners recreational substances. Unfortunately it is very easy to poison a dog this way, especially as this animal is often greedy and will gobble up anything it can find.
Also they mentioned possible psychological addiction to cannabis amongst small pets such as rats and rabbits, which hippy stoner types would often let run free in their rooms outside the confines of hutches and cages. These creatures were starting to memorise where their owners stored their stash, and would gnaw away at small pieces of it (that went unnoticed by the hippies who assumed their friends were smoking the stuff or they had done so and forgot). but eventually the owners started wondering why their pets were becoming slow and lethargic and got worried they were unwell..
Unfortunately this was just before everything started being archived on the net and was also copyright (though it did get briefly reported in some papers) or I’d link to it (it certainly made a Daily Mail headline from what I remember..)

The dog is dead.
Joking 😉
Shortly after he started doing laps of the garden we were in, rolled about a bit then cuddled up to some guy on a sofa inside who was rolling too hard to even stand. Not joking 😛
The dog was fine and is still alive being a crazy jack russell to this day.
to be fair a quantity of part digested MDMA won’t finish off even a small dog, though a whole pill would be bad news even to a big one.
Another thing mentioned on the vet news at Defra (we would get this newsletter of interesting veterinary related stuff from across the EU) was Merseyside Constabulary lost a sniffer this way, he had become partial to licking up small amounts of amfetamine, unnoticed by his handlers. They probably though he was just a very happy enthusiastic dog.
Until one day (typical greedy labrador) he bit into a entire kilo pack, his shocked handler found him on his back going into seizures, immediately put out a code 00 call (urgent assistance required).
hey bluelighted that dog straight to liverpool uni vet faculty (one of the best in the UK as good as Bristol or London) but it was DOA. We did all feel a bit sorry for the handler and that also its £30 000 of taxpayers money down the loo (cost of training the dog + paid leave / counselling for the officer) but there was some wry amusement that the only Police dog known to go over from corrupt behaviour was from Merseyside…
