Yeah I heard the are even porting BF3 for the WII U. I don’t know if they still are since there is going to be no advantage of having it on the WII. The Poor maachine is frankly a plie of crap with dated hardware. Have you noticed that no new games have come out for it since zombie U. Something is due at end of month but I don’t see it surviving as a “next gen” machine since nothing as next gen about it.
Also The Battlefield premium content as nearly all finished. We have had the last expansion and soldier upgrades all that is left is a premium video that will probably be a pile of turd. Fair enough if you buy premium you get al the content at a discount, but one of the perks of premium is that we were getting the maps early. Oh and as for the PS3 getting the maps 1 week before other platforms, aparantly EA and Microsoft are making a exclusivity deal for BF4.
I seriously can’t wait for the next gen machines. Current gen hardware have been holding back the PC games for long time. Look at BF3, the Frostbite 2 engine is one of the most powerful engines about and they had to hold back on so much of the dynamic elements like destruction, things moving and terrain deformation. When I played the BF3 “beta” (I hate calling them betas when they are clearly just demo’s, and “beta” is a marketing term now) I could blow huge craters in the maps and make tank traps etc. But when the full game came out the bet I could do was make a tiny little dome in the grass.

The main thing I am looking forward to is having more than 12vs12 on big maps. Playing 12vs12 on the huge maps like bandar desert is a joke. You can drive around for minutes at a time without seeing anyone. TBH the conquest mode on console is not very good becasue of the player limits which is why I normally play Rush. Also rush has more of a team play element to it especially if you use the Team VOIP servers cos you get people PTFO-ing (play the fucking objective) rather than sitting up on a hill sniping away trying too boost your KD.
Not saying BF3 was rubbish, as I have clocked 392:37:10 hours on the game. If I didn’t have music as a hobby I would be well over a thousand hours and probably colonel 100 rank cos the game is really fun. So that’s nearly 400 hours of explosions, gun battles, C4 laced Jihad jeeps and quadbikes and some epic RPG chopper takedowns. So Thanks BFΒ£ for the good times and here’s to BF4
