A little good news for once 😉
Have been reading a lot about this the last many months..I’m glad he’s alive and well after the circumstances..
Probably need a lot of help to get over what he have been going through..
Mr Johnston, 45, was handed over to armed men in Gaza City. He said his ordeal was like “being buried alive” but it was “fantastic” to be free.
Rest of the story here http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/6267928.stm

i’m pleased that he’s alive and well, but it seems bizarre how much attention this case has received when people are dying there every day… including children :yakk:
Yeah, true. the funny thing is he was one of the few western journo’s in a position to witness the sufferin.
Can’t imagine he will continue in Gaza…
yeah it’s wickid
i said when hamas took over… say what you like about ’em, but they have backbone and if they say they’ll get him released, the bloody well will
shame about all the other crazy shit they pull… still, that whole issue is cos we promised we would recognise a democratic election, hamas won and we didn’t “recognise” it… i’d be a bit pissed off if i were in hamas tbh
