the miniature Japanese cameras often have a zoom lens with a wide angle setting that does make people look fat, plus i had indeed put on some weight (I am now 63.5 kilos which is a bit more suitable).
on a more serious note a photo is very valuable to a detective or criminal psychologist, even a group photo like that.
The level of surveillance has now increased to the point where they will be using a bit more brains rather than just a pair of eyes to look over the photos, it is the same technique as how they look at protest or footy crowds.
if they were for instance interested in me they would note that I was on the edge of the group, looking closely at the stack and the rig van. This could be taken to indicate (correctly) that I was a relative newcomer to the group, but someone who has been to a few raves before and is clearly taking an interest in the sound system the “wider operational aspects” of putting on a rave rather than any random kid who just turns up and starts dancing.
In fact i had just been shown round the entire stack by the lad who built most of it, and had pointed out various aspects of its construction (much of which I have to admit went over my head although Biotech, elretardo or raj probably would know).. Incidentally the “random” colours that many SJ’ers took the piss out of appear to have a purpose. They actually identify out of a linkup which crews the speakers belong to 😉
They would also assume my friends/associates are somewhere in that picture. At least seven are present of them in that photo, with two or three who have posted at least once on partyvibe or are aware of this site.
Incidentally I spoke to a chap from a local crew who was wholly unaware of the extent of these bebo groups (although is unhappy about the risks they pose).
The young lady who uploaded these photos is from Stow and I have been unable to find her when she isnt’ full of ketamine and advise her of the problems circulating these pics in such a manner..
I fear the youths just don’t realise what they are getting themselves into sometimes..
plus what would happen if bebo goes tits up due to lack of ongoing revenue? how many of them have used sites like this as a substitute for backing up their camera pics to a hard drive? I remember when SJ gallery went down loads of people whinging that “oh, I have deleted the original files” :you_crazy
