you lot come across as sensible enough – but any of your drivers racing is not a good idea when enroute to a tek which could be many miles away and in unfamiliar territory.
I know what its like as my mates used to do it as well in the 90s and there’s always that feeling when the tunes are blasting from the stereo and everyone wants to get to the rave (or to get back home) to try and rag your car as fast as it will go.. Some of us are still here, some are not; some got hurt very badly doing this.
Also every traffic cop in the country who is working bank holiday is gonna be looking out for convoys like this (its pretty bloody obvious what you may be up to)!
this entire country has as many cameras as the Big Brother house; last bank holiday it was clear that vehicles were being followed through counties on camera
There is loads more surveillance and monitoring kit and anything you do on the roads which draws attention to yourself is noted even if you aren’t stopped there and then.
Two of my friends lost their licenses last year (only just after they got them) after attending a teknival; the cars exiting the event were being monitored as they passed through each village on the way back out of the venue. Traffic cops have cameras in their cars, with computers that can log numberplates of vehicles which pass them.
You don’t need to drive like a granny but just in a reasonable manner; blend in with the rest of the holiday traffic 😉
