Especially with stuff like that (or any synthetic opiate); if insufficient info is shared folk get the dosage wrong or combine it with the wrong stuff and end up in the Emergency Department or brown bread; and the stuff gets temp banned and vendors raided even sooner.
A couple of days ago I was holed up in the lower ground floor nurses office at work dealing with a defective computer and they have this spreadsheet on the wall with all the (approved) synthetic pain treatments (mostly for seniors although this place does deal with some younger patients) and there are major differences in safe dosage level for each preparation.
