Yeah surprised cats have twice the votes of dogs. Would have liked the poll to be multi choice but never mind.
I opted for horse purely because they can double up as a mode of transport too.
Exactly. If someone ever asked you “can I get a lift to the market?” You can say, “sure! Just hop on my horse”
Cats and dogs can’t do that! Besides… horseback riding is way too fun
medium to large size dogs used to be used to pull carts of goods and even transport people in Europe until the start of the 20th century, though the practice was discouraged and in some cases banned in the early 1900s under newly introduced animal protection laws in both UK and NL as there were insufficient dogs/rest periods and poor quality harnesses being used.
I believe dog carts were still used to deliver beer well into the 1960s (i’ve seen it mentioned in both English and Dutch articles from that era) provided they had a human supervisor who walked with the dogs and none of them were drunk on duty (as that would be a traffic violation).

Yeah ‘hop on my ferret’ doesn’t really work lol

you’d need way too many to pull a cart and would get done for both motoring offences and animal welfare anywhere in the EU. You can take ferrets across Europe as well as cats and dogs if they have a passport , I was working at Defra when they negotiated this for the EU (ferrets win many medals for England at European competitions).

I’m sure I’ve heard a woman say that to me before! :laugh_at:

You can always rely on me mate, ha ha!
I like carpets. Can be expensive to purchase but require less attention and maintenance than most other pets.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IUTgAHawOD8 Booo! Hiss. FG pisses me off, American Dad wipes the floor with it in my opinion.
Yay, hoorah. Father Ted is great though:love:
American Dad may be better over all mate, but do they have a pet rock? No they don’t, hence the need to angry up your blood by promoting an FG clip!
Father Ted is proper funny though. 🙂

Yeah but they have a pet Roger. Doesn’t matter how good you think your rock is it’s not as good as Roger.
