shud b alright as long as ur not downloading dodgey midget porn
spybot search and destroy + antivirus like avast if you trying to do it for free
Microsoft have a new anti virus thing out if I recall it did very well both for detecting shit and not slowing ur PC down. Nothing wrong with AVG though you do want some spywhere detection their like search and destroy or something. If you search for best free antivirus you will get a few lists come have id have a look through them. End of the day it doesn’t matter that u use too much.
Id check out the new Microsoft one myself.
mcafee, norton, nod32. u can get them all free off torrents, just depends if u know how to get it. i know if you download vuze you can get them off it.
also i got a virus the other day and the blue screen of death kept shutting my computer off. i went on windows restore mode and put my computer back 5 days, completely cured it 😉
i use avg its cool and also use glary utilities you can sort a whole lot of shit out with this and speed you comp up again
I used to use AVG or Avast for Windows, but after a few virus issues and one that killed my PC I ditched windows

I find a knuckle duster and a baseball bat with a nail embedded in it are the only things i need to defend my computer.
i use kaspersky best one going but it’s not free 🙁
my computer instantly sped up once i got rid of norton and got avg,
then for spyware and that i use lavasoft adaware which is also free.
Both my PCs got viruses in the last week.
It was a program called ‘Antivirus Live’ which is a malicous program masquerading as antivirus software that hijacks your PC and prevents programs from operating.
I use Symantec Antivirus though might not have updated enough.
Got rid of all now though raaa
I also use Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware which is free

I wouldn’t wish mcafee or norton on my worst enemies. Disgusting resource hogging pieces of shit tbf.
Nod32 is decent though.

Not true.
Again totally shit. It takes over your system and essentially steals all your control.
I used it when it was free with windows 7 RC for ages and I got nothing but trouble, plus its pretty seriously panned by most experts.
I for one am sick to the back teeth of antivirus’ just eating up memory and treating me like a fucking child. It’s my fucking computer so I will use it how I like.
Anyway I use AVG free combined with comodo firewall. I have email scanner and link scanner turned off in AVG, also I have all of the defense+ part of Comodo turned off and I never have a problem. The occasion sweep with Spybot S&D gets rid of any minor tracking cookies etc that sneak past, although again I have the system monitor turned off as I get bored of it asking me about every registry change.

keep it away from cliffy, all that porn generates alot of viruses!
Ubuntu ftw!!! raaa
(ok not the easiest to set up but once I got it running right it pisses all over windows, plus no need for anti virus – you can get it but its really for out going files to protect windows users)
