downloaded cubase ages ago sx3 version, got the 3.01 version patch. everytime i open it, it slows down my computer, loadsa, takes ages to do anything, then when i get audio up, it says a major prob has occured(please look at this log in the directory, is what it says), there is no log in the directory, im not sure weather it is a dodgey version(1) or weather i need an external good soundcard(such as a edirol FA 66) or a m audio fast track(110 of ebizzle) (any suggestions for what sound card would be appreciated) i need ones with loadsa ports, so a soundcard/audio interface) anyway back to the problem, i have no idea what the prob is and i got loadsa cwk to do

sorry i can’t really answer cos i dunno much about that sorta techy stuff, although cubase is a great program, just finished my music GCSE work, all done on cubase/audacity.

out of interest, what course are you doin?

my mate had the same problem from one he downloaded …

if you DL’d a snipe copy, the patch could contain a verification tool

if they had subjects like that for A level when I was doing it (and even then the technology was available) I might have actually paid attention and behaved a bit better in sixth form :groucho:
