Yup Finding your bike gone or half the parts missing sucks big time,if im going to have to leave it for any length of time Ijust take the rusty old bmx to town these days.

had a motorbike stolen once, because they couldnt move it the smashed the shit out of it 😥 and dumped it in a field.

Wasn’t the best bike in the world but it was my transport, i reported it stolen at 2am when i finished work to a copper driving past. They came and knocked on my door at 3.30am to tell me where they found it and that they had moved it behind a shed out the way…

For once they were helpful raaa

what really pisses me off is the thieves who deliberately prey on friendly/progressive communities such as ravers, squatters etc.. they end up making people more cynical and less trusting on the alternative scenes..

Its very “cuntish” when that happens, you should respect other peoples belongings. Would never dream of stealing from anyone as i know how much of a pain in the arse it is, also if i find something someone loses i try to get it back to them (phones are well easy usually)

If your in someones home you should treat it with respect, well then again i dont let people in my home i dont know. I may sound like a nob but it happened before at my grandparents when i was looking after the place and loads went missing. Thank god some of the “lads” got it all back raaa

Bike thieves are scum. right proper scum. Whilst being non-violent and generally cheerful, I reckon bike thieves should have the parts dept from the local bike shop forcibly inserted into their arseholes. Bikes, push or motor, are generally pride and joy or essential transport. The worst thing is you get your bike knicked 99% of the time they are broken for parts as they are unusable in their hot condition. no one’s even gonna get the joy. Just spent over 500quid on security for mine and the bastards can still just rock up and whack it in the back of their thieving bastard transit. Then my insurance (already a good percentage of the gdp of Uganda) increases fifty fold. burning’s too good for the cock-throttlers they should be raped by pandas (mammal not Fiat).

i only ride a shi**y push bike, well mountain bike, before i had a car, put it next to halfords, someone knicked both wheels, have never got them reclaimed, had to get new ones, and had to go back to halfords to get them (how demoralizing) i hate thieves, lowest scum.

    peace

my £1000 frame was stolen … was gutted, few weeks later im walking past my local shops and some lads sitting on it … i got it back 🙂

The Thames valley area is particularly bad for bicycle theft, there are a lot of junkies and bicycles are sources of cash as well as transport and getaway vehicles..

Whenever I used to cycle to parties in West Berks (I lived in Reading, so the Ridgeway wasn’t exactly far) I always hid my bike in one of the rig vans (and still locked it):laugh_at:
