and not meaning to chalange your way of life, but chewing on threatend fish stocks, gut oils to make your self “spritley”, is probally exposing your self to Radioactive elements which humans have dumped at sea, as well as mercury and other nasty chemicals.
If you whant to be spritley, why not try dancing round the woods at night.
Did you know that some Marine Biologists expect up to an 80% drop in marine biology, since the industrial revolution?
The Occeans, on our little Blue Planet, as water does genraly, suports life on earth.
As basic single cellular life forms like Plankton start geting screwd up by the contaminated waste of Humans like the Radioactive dischargies at Sea, then so is the food chain of other animals threatend and life slowly starts depeating.
I personly would put Saving our Oceans from polution, above the threat of climate change! Who konws, if we didnt pump as much thermaly heated, Radiactive water into our Oceans, then the Sea’s might not be heating up as much as they were.
were all those posts ironic?
I’m quite spritely after a couple of cod liver oil tablets 😉
hahah dont panic, its my berkshire speak… everything is dear old… dear old cod liver oil… dear old glo… dear old 2006… etc etc
sorry Glo, i spose i do prattle on about stuff, i know little about, evan though i do have the resources to cary out more consice research!
:laugh_at: Thanks for pointing that out and sharing your opiniouns
I feel though that it is somwhat disconserting that if we as humans cant resolveour own differances, live peacfuly and in harmony with each other, without human wrights violations, then what hope have we got of safe guarding our Worlds ecology and enviroment.
All the time there is Freedom, there has got to be hope :weee:

thinking about what you are posting
think about threads on here as a conversation in a normal social setting.ie. if you start a conversation about one topic and then just keep asking unrelated questions to someone, in a pub, it comes across as odd and doesn’t encourage conversation
basically, normal social skills apply

topical conversation anyone?
I was speaking to a freind yesterday, and he raised some points and I think these points are Topical;
Apparently, I was told,
China is Building about 2 Coal Power stations a day to power it’s growing demands to meet industies needs.
(In my opinioun though at least, the burning of coal, is a lot safer than the spliiting of atoms and exploitations of highly dangourse, toxic Radioctive substances, puting thousands of people and the enviroment at risk)
He was quite shocked at how many Products acturly are imported from Chimna and for sale in Supermarkets like Tesco’s.
I am all for freedom of trade, ext. but I do feel that powerful Corporisations should take some Global responsibility and put some ethics before profit.
It would seem that some of these most powerful and “high street” respected Brands, manufacture where ever it is as cheap as posible for them to do so.
This I feel is a bit irisponsible to develpoing countries human wrights, enviromental issues, and also on a more local leval, unfairly challenging the possble market of more greener and enviromentaly sustainable, local markets.
There are any how, far greener energy production alternitives, which China has to started to develop in.
Some Green alternitives include; Solar, Wind, Hydro, Wave, turbine and biomas, for instance from natraul gas from domestic or agricultural waste for instance.
Admitedly, I am not no scientist, so there for do not hypothisies about the “short term”, “long term” effects of so much CO2 being realesed into the atmospheare from the Burning of so much Coal for instance.
Everdently so,
The United Kingdom, certonly burnt a lot of coal, from the start of the “industrail revolution”, what with the development of steam powerd engines.
Apparently,
(wether this in actauly enviromentaly, meta-logical or not, i dont know)
but,
during the “No Fly Zone”, following the 9-11 incerdent in USA,
The genral atmospheric climate conditions, were said to have droped in temperiture by 2 or 3 degrees.
This occured whilst Plains were not able to fly during the no fly zone.
Wether this was to do with there being less mass quantities of CO2 in the air from plain fuel or not, I my self cant be sure.
