It’s a pity the rest of them didn’t follow his example…
i think that his whole business is bull… much as i dislike.. even hate blunkett… this is not how i would like to see his career end..
much prefer see it go becaudçse he has taken away so many libertites that have existed since 400 years ago:confused:
does it really matter how the enemy is conquered? TBH I was jumping for joy when I heard the news – he set himself up to judge us; and couldn’t live up to his own standards of integrity.
I have no problem with peopel using “undercover” tactics against our adversaries – they would use the same against us. The enemy of our enemy is our friend.
IMO its even better that “love” (or the fucked up power games many/most relationships end up in) fucked him up in the end! Payback time – that’ll teach the bastard…
Before he resigned David Blunkett finally made an admission that he had lied over anti-war protests at RAF Fairford last year.
The ex-Home Secretary finally set the record straight over what he called dangerous “armed anarchists” who were searched by Gloucestershire police under anti-terror legislation last year at RAF Fairford, which is used as a B52 bomber base.
Pride of place in the armoury of the no doubt drug-crazed Trotsky-ite anarcho crusties, apparently, was an airborne terror weapon…or as we’d call it… a kite!
In Parliamment Blunkett recently admitted that the dangerous âarmed anarchistsâ were NOT – as he had previously stated – armed with âcugels and swordsâ….
the admission follows a lengthy attempt by campaigners and other MPs to get Blunkett to come clean over his crazy statements about protestors which would be more expected had they come from a righ wing newspaper
A rational human being, having come up with such utter rubbish in public, would you’d think, climb down as rapidly and with as much dignity as possible and correct the error, but not our David, oh no…
he held onto his mad assertions for around a year, until last month when he backed down slightly admitting that the….”range of items seized from the protesters… did not include cudgels.”
Ah, but what about the swords those dangerous armed anarchist peace protestors must have been carrying?
Campaigners and MPs kept chasing Blunkett trying to get him to explain what on earth he was on about.
Asked specifically whether any swords were seized from protesters under section 60 searches and whether any weapons were seized under section 44, Blunkett recently replied that a range of items had been seized under section 60….finally admitting…QUOTE:
“Contrary to my understanding at the time” he said….. “I now understand that these did NOT include swords.”
Asked how many times stop and search powers were used by police in the vicinity of Fairford during the anti-war protests, Blunkett replied that 2,254 stop-searches had been conducted. An amazingly high figure, which underlines the fact that anti-terror legislation is being rountinely used against protestors.
During the security operation at RAF Fairford, police seized items from 28 people as a result of searches that were conducted under section 44 of the Terrorism Act 2000. Blunkett reported these included a kite, cameras and camera equipment, and some drugs.
So much for the sword weilding armed anarchists… When the great british press comes out with such rubbish it’s almost to be expected given the lax standards of our gutter newspapers… but hardly what you’d expect from a Home Secretary…
well ok then I would, still crap though innit…
blunkett – what a wanker.
He is now…
(unless the dog has a paw in it)
