i choose books .. alltho i not been bothered to read them in the last few years .. i always find books seem to tell a better story than the equivelant film ….
I really can’t vote on this one..
I think most books are better than the film, but films like The Greene Mile,Shawshank Redemption,Little Big Man.. (more I can’t remember) are great films..
But I love books and will always preferre a good book to a film :weee:
We need another option on the poll..But I can’t make it.
Mods,please :laugh_at:
I choose books as my imagination is rather vivid,
I tend to feel let down by films,
and also they cant always fit all the story into a film and leave bits (that I usually think are pivotal) out
having said that – if I do watch a film that I’ve read I do try and just see it as a story and not the one I know…………
trying to get through his dark materials before seeing the golden compass……
Depends what mood I’m in and the type of film, do like getting engrossed in a book to the point where I carry it round the house with me when making cuppas etc, when my depression was real bad that was one of the most annoying things, I couldn’t concentrate for more than a couple of pages so gave up for a few years……
they’re right we need another option, it depends on the book/film
on the whole books are better but ‘Do androids dream of electric sheep’ and ‘Bladerunner’ is just one exception of quite a few
more options please

i love do androids dream of electric sheep but find blade runner difficult to watch alot of people share your opinion and i cant see why
the tital of the poll is .. what tells the best story … books or films … its relative to your experiances .. so just put what you feel m8 .. 😉
See you should have had unsure as an option!
Well i am a lazy fucker and i don’t really read, but reading leaves your imagination to do some work.
But a film can have explosions and other cool stuff like that (also a lot quicker to get through)
Books, definately.
cannot answer the question then 😉
big film buff but books are my all time love
I would say books because they’re more in depth than films & they give you the chance to imagine how the book would be if it was real- with films stuff gets shortened down & it’s usually different to how you thought it would be…
i think harry potter was better as a book compared to the films… but, y’know… 🙂
