I only played MW2 Single Player anyway, but still think Borderlands is 10x better.
It’s good fun. Basically an FPS with RPG elements. There’s supposedly a million weapon possibilities which means there’s nearly always going to be a better weapon to keep you busy… Co-op online is good. Basically quickly join other people and play through the main game. Just choose a server that is the same level as you so you aren’t too shit or too good. Anything you do or collect carries on in Single player. Which is good because the enemy is slightly harder in Co-op to balance the fact there’s several of you, so you can loot better items respectively to their level.
Good re playability aswell. 4 character classes all quite different. You can also carry your player with all skills and weapons onto a new game which then plays the same except all the enemies and upscaled to yourself.
If you’ve got a PC get it for that. Obviously it’s going to look better if your system is up for it anyway, but if you download the cracked version you can still play online easily with all the people who have bought it.
