that reminds me of a very drunk Mr Tank who had a brick and decided he was gonna take it home as a pet but was told by the nasty policeman to put it down……

They are very relaxing to watch but I always feel sorry for fish in tanks

also not sure i see the point of tortoises, i mean there’s obviously a point for them an other tortoises but as pets for us?

you have to spend ages searching for them then stick them in a box for 6 months of the year and remember to get them out after or yuk

I think you aren’t allowed them any more (or at least discouraged from getting them as pets) as they are brought in from foreign countries in bad conditions..

As for all the perceived “boringness” of hamsters, they are the Al-Quaeda of small ground mammals.

They are known to regularly escape, dodge predators and other hazards and even successfully breed in the wild (there is supposed to be now a native UK wild population of the Syrian hamster).

fish are ace. so fuckin cool to sit and watch. preferably witha nice fat doobie. oh yeah…!

I think it had had some ‘hamster speed’ last night, it was manic up and down the sofa and Mr Tanks head, and quite fun to play with…..
I am wondering what was in those ‘hamster treats’ now :laugh_at: :laugh_at:

ah, that must be why you lot up North still have a fishing industry and we don’t in East Anglia/South coast.. stoned fish are easier to catch…

They are slow at reacting and jump at bait, munchies can be lethal for a stoner fish.

when i was a nip me and my brother had a “giant african snail” each, i question wheather i choose it but around the time memorys actually become memorys there was a massive snail in my life and it stayed that way for several years, boring and unusual? occsionally it would glaze over and thenjust start being alive again afew weeks later, upon typing that i feel i may have been victim to the replacements to not deal with death thing, however i did not care for thoose lifeless animals so it would have been a waste of money
