Thats all Im getting too.:hopeless:
are you getting the navigation bar? if you are use it as it is only the front page that says that 😉
Yeah that works fine – home page has that msg but rest of site works.
Although its difficult reading it is good to see – not in the sense of being good that this situation exists, but in the sense that it is good to see at least some sections of Israeli society (and particularly good to see its ex-Israeli servicemen) recognising the madness that is the situation in that part of the world – at times watching the news recently its seemed that the whole place is so factionised (is that a word?) that there is no hope for the future.
Unfortunately, I fear that these soldiers telling their tales will have little or no effect on the bigger picture – but at least its a glimmer of hope coming from the region in a troubled time.
At the end of the day if there is to be hope then the Israeli populace must start to understand some of the Palestinians grievances and realise why they are hated so much – it is not just down to an argument over religion or the Holy Land any more – 50 years of conflict and Israeli occupation have made as much a conflict about the modern beahviour of Israel as it is about the past.
That being said – both sides need to moderate their approach – some of Israels behaviour is understandable when you look at our own reaction to just one suicide bomb attack – imagine that daily and what we would do…. and at the end of the day until the Arab world stops inflaming the situation and denouncing Israel then they are going to continue feeling threatened and cornered as they are surrounded by enemies – and when people are cornered the instinct is to fight back.
– two sides to an argument and all that!
