You know who’s fault this is? THE SWISS. If they never ratified the International Opium Convention, the US wouldn’t have made the Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs, then to top it off, the Paris Convention (not typing the long ass-name) got the UN to improve the Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs to the UN Convention Against Illicit blah bah Psychotropic Substances, which got everyone making more laws which turned into the Controlled Substance Act, which was revised to comply with the CDTA, then we added the Controlled Substances Penalties Amendments act, and then the Federal Analogue Act, putting drug money in the hands of criminals.

American logic at it’s finest. The CSA was a big fuck-up on our part, but the addition of the UN Convention played a part. I was joking about the swiss, it was all Nixon.
