A loose knit mix of creative happenings – THE MAD EMITTERS TEA PARTY –
an ‘Alice in Wonderland’- themed gathering (mad hatters and hares will be there) to highlight the Bush administration’s loss of touch with reality on the Climate Crisis. And also no doubt to express outrage at Blair’s recent statement putting the spectre of new nuclear power back on the agenda ‘with a vengeance’.
Live acoustic music, jugglers, street performers etc.
Bring your sense of fun and, if so inclined, any instruments / drums / poems / songs / juggling gear etc.
This will be the first in what we hope will be a monthly series of fluffy gatherings.
The US emits 25% of the world’s greenhouse gases with 4% of the population and it’s government is not only stubbornly inactive but actually attempts to sabotage international progress on finding a solution to the crisis. Hope to see you there.
