Recreational Cocaine Users Wanted for Research Study

Are you occasionally using cocaine?

Are you healthy?

Are you aged between 22-55years?

Are you able to spend 5½ hours on one day in Cambridge?

Researchers at the University of Cambridge are seeking volunteers who have been using cocaine from time to time to take part in a research study.

Participants will need to undergo a brain scan, give blood, fill out some questionnaires, and perform some computerised tests.

All information will be kept strictly confidential! Participants will be compensated for their time and inconvenience with £80, and receive a picture of their brain.

We are particularly looking at stimulant dependence and resilience, as well as addiction endophenotypes. Please see below a link to a news article about the study.

May I ask, would the taking of other substances for recreational purposes other than cocaine negate one from such an experiment?

Thanks for relying. It doesnt matter if you are using other drugs as well as cocaine, as long as you are still using cocaine occasionally. If you are interested please do give me a call and I am more than happy to call you back. Alternatively you can email me your number. Thanks!
