is beardy man actualy gonna be there this time? .. as i went to the last one he was suposed to goto and he had been replaced with killa kella .. that right pissed me off cos that was the only reason i went .. lucky for you you have such a good night cos the anoyance left in about 2 minits as the night was propper banging :weee::laugh_at:

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED – it is reported in the mainstream media and even the NME

A MUSIC festival that was to be held on the Somerleyton Estate next month has been cancelled.

About 1,500 people were expected to descend on the estate on August 29 and 30 for Bangfest. However, it will now not take place.

Earlier this month, Waveney District Council’s environmental protection officers granted a licence for the 24-hour festival after a 200-page application was submitted by organisers JGSR Events.

The application had received one objection on grounds of potential disturbance, but the licence was approved subject to three conditions on monitoring noise levels.

The event, which was to feature jungle, drum and bass, electro and techno music, was due to start at 1pm on the Saturday, with live music in the afternoon and evening and two tents playing music from 11pm to about 4am. But a notice on the festival’s website has announced that it will not go ahead.

It states: “Sadly, due to reasons beyond our control, Bangfest cannot take place this year. This is an extremely frustrating situation since we have our licence and the support has been so strong.

“We apologise for any inconvenience and will fully refund ticket-holders. However, for the love of the Bang Face Hard Crew and in the spirit of Neo-Rave, we are organising a free party on the same weekend. So Bang Face 69 will now take place in London on Friday, August 28 at a new venue.”

It is thought the decision could be due to poor ticket sales. Organisers were yesterday unavailable for comment.
