An update:
It’s looking veeeery green and syrupy :crazy_fre
Has crystal bits floating around in it but i’m not sure if that’s just mank which would need to be sivvyed at the end?
I’ve been giving it a shake almost everyday also, i keep it bottled up but went in for a wee sniff last night and it’s beginning to smell like ganja, but as i am continually seeing an improvement in the bottle i won’t be declaring it complete until i no longer see any improvement and it hits it’s plateau.

Give it another month or so yet then try it, I completely forgot about this!

Yeah another month at least, i’m patient enough, my friend makes ganja whiskey and as i hate the taste of whiskey, he makes it ohhhh so drinkable, scrumptious!
A couple of my mates said you get stoned and not pissed when you drink it, i’ve watched them drinking ganja whiskey and they tend to start acting/looking stoned after about 2 whiskey glasses <– size/dosage (sipped)

When you get round to trying it, try a spray bottle. You can get empty sprayers from Boots or Superdrug, but to be honest the 15ml Boots Spectacle Lens cleaner is the best I’ve found – handy size, unlike the 60ml upwards empties.

Hope you enjoy it when you do decant. It’s quite a subtle effect, not like a big fat dooby at all. 🙂

Looking good. You can filter it if you want. Best results I got where just using paper as a filter. Tip – wet the paper filter with some neat alcohol. That will fractionally weaken it, but you will also waste less by soaking the paper with the dissolved ganja mix.

Oh, it’s not tricky… just a funnel lined with some paper (you can use proper coffee filters if you want).

I actually find the rough blue paper supplied free at refuel stops does just as good. It’s fairly tough so doesn’t tear when wet.

The point is, if you wet with a little neat alcohol, it doesn’t need to soak up any of your long waited for mixture. Might be only a couple drops you save but you are in for a nice surprise when it comes to sampling this stuff. 🙂

we’ve tried it[1], didn’t generally have the patience or enough stalks left but once or twice we got something that gave you a lift with it. don’t think we ever managed “syrupy” so good luck ! 🙂

Ah yeah you need a lot of stalks man, I’m hoping to get even more soon, it is well stuffed but could probably manage more.

Just get some buds and grind em and chuck em in there, you will get more bang for your buck

Well my whole point of it at the beginning was recycling, cos i get the stalks for free off my mate as i like to choof the leaf, and otherwise the stalks would just be bin material.

You are right up to a point, but the Caribbean folks I talk to about doing this are verey keen on using the WHOLE plant. Doing that bit later is an option, kind of finishing the flavour.

Depends on what the maker finds they like. 😉

bacardi will probably cover up the earthy stalky taste better than wodka as well 🙂
