  • Its not the fact of putting on a party…. your on about a HUGE party that would probably piss everyone off and do more harm to the scene than good.

this is a fact that the ob will be monitoring this site but there is only a date and the E-mail address is only used from cafes so they can’t trace it to my address.

There is ways around obstacles but the risk is there every time I do a free party so I feel that this is the time to show that the freedom to party is still there.

The police can only stop what they know and in this case so far they know just the basics and that is not enough to stop a party.

you get 300 cars full of peeps roaming around looking for a party then its very hard to stop things happening and this is a proven track record.

By many rigs in the past 16 years……..

whose to say that a copper cant just email that address right now and then you’ll be keeping him updated of your everymove. You can get a convoy of 300 cars, but if the sound systems are all nicked or detained before they join it your fucked.

@Starlaugh thats exactly what im saying. a huge party will get (bad) publicity. And the only way the cops would take it is as a big fuck you to them. If it did happen i reckon every party after that no matter how well organised big or small would be getting busted hard and everything confiscated.

Has anyone got their rigs back after the tek in wales yet?

no. permanent seizures on all and various charges upheld against people

as the people involved had jobs no one has got jail, just fines and community service, but they’ve all been given convictions because of this.

    .

no chance of gettin them back at all?

I haven’t seen the full details of the court cases but it appears to be a similar situation to Ramsholt (where the cops decided to keep the genset for themselves) where all the property used in the crime is forfeit to the Crown (the courts can order this for any criminal case)

It seems though the British and foreign authorities are now working together to “deal with” the “problems” caused by the “euro-teknivals”.

Apparently “British dealers” have flooded places like France, Italy with ketamine (or are perceived to be doing so!) , and there has been an influx (in recent times, 2004 onwards) of UK crews who have been forced out of British free parties have gone to Europe

the cops there are none too happy (a fair few people, including some I know, got busted by Italian authorities at Italytek as they allegedly pushed it beyond “agreed finish times” and pissed off the locals).

OF course because of the sheer size of crews, the lack of strict border controls and the terrain not all events get busted (smaller things do seem to get tolerated as shockraver site clearly shows) but when things do go tits up its not at all pleasant…. (Czechtek 2005? for instance)

nah its gone mate, just makin the best of it till its time to leave.

    Hi,

I was only three when this was going on… sounds like best week anyone can remember! I’m trying to find out a bit more about this particular rave… anyone know whether there was any issues with undercover cops, or the like? Of course might be tough to know.

    Kate

nah, the problems were more to the cops as most of the undercover units they sent in in them days ended up getting on drugs themselves and being quietly invalided out of the force so as not to cause a big ruckus. Its almost funny until you realise how much taxpayers money got pissed up the wall with these sorts of operations. Also cops then didn’t have as much of the high tech equipment that they have nowadays, although they had some surveillance kit their main computers were very old, and their radios were analogue and you could easily listen in and find out where they were 😉
