Slideshow here (the captions are in German but you can look at the pictures even if you cant read them). Basically some Swiss hippies have set up a sanctuary for all the camels and dromedaries that retire from the zoos/circus (similar to the goose paradise in NL but with camels).
I think like most of Europe CH is stopping circuses with animals, so they are left with a load of older camels who are used to living in Switzerland.
