TBH I think the most they can do is use your details to bar you from the club (and maybe other venues if they are on “nightsafe”) and (if they could even be bothered) tell the “rat on a rat” line your name and that you might be involved in the use of drugs. If they really wanted to be arsey I suppose they could contact your college; but I’ve not heard of security staff doing this even in student union bars!
If the rentaguards didn’t seize the card and bag it properly like the CSI lot do and detain you and call the cops there and then the “evidence” has been contaminated – after all that card could get mixed up with all the other lost/seized property which also could be contaminated with other peoples drugs.
even if you change your username all previous posts of yours quoted by anyone else will still say “boothy” on them (the same as what happens on SJ). TBH I would expect anyone checking up on you probably knows you are on here and has read your posts.
When I was in the Civil Service my IT security audit (done by the Security Service or MI5!) showed that I was a heavy net user and that I had used a site called “partyvibe” many times (which, curiously, wasn’t blocked!) but my line management knew I was a good worker and didn’t care about it.
At interviews etc. if you are challenged just say “I used to do drugs but have calmed down now” – drug use is mainstream these days and everyone is allowed “youthful indiscretions”
