So I’ve read about CWE and another method involving a syringe
Every CWE variation involves dissolving the tablets in hot water then cooling the solution. This takes a while

The solubility of codeine in water as warm as room temperature is very much higher than that of paracetamol.
So my question is, why not just dissolve the tablets in a small volume of cool water and stir, then filter the solids and voila?
Even in room temperature water, and a manageable quantity of water (15ml),all the codeine would be dissolved and the amount of paracetamol would be 100mg which is safe,
So in cooler water, and a smaller volume of water, the paracetamol quantity would be very low.
This method would be faster and for those in colder climates, tap water could be used directly without the need of a freezer
I am going to be using 10 8/500 tablets so I want to do it right but I don’t have access to a freezer which I can put codeine in
