I’ve been getting loads of cold calls on my mobile phone recently. I haven’t given my number out to any companies, rang any sex lines (that i can remember) so i can’t see how they have my number.

I’m getting several a day and it’s seriously pissing me off now. You get em on the house phone which happens but to me a mobile is much more private and i can’t believe these cunts can get away with it.

Has anyone been getting similar calls on their mobiles and also is there anything that can be done about it? :crazy_diz

somehow when my mobile contract was due for renewal last year – I started to get loads, I had a mobile where I could block certain numbers and did this. Still dont know where they got my details from though.

give them a fucking earful every time they call

i used to get loads then I just got really rude everytime they got through and they stopped, havent had one since

i did this when my mate kept getting calls to his flat about a conservatory. we arranged a consultation and a man came round to discuss it. we proceeded to ask him if they were going to build it some sort of platform. my friends flat is on the top floor of his block.

the man was not amused.

My friend did a similar thing –
2 men knocked at her door and were telling her how they had evidence she was paying too much for her gas supplier,
she invited them in – listened to all their speal and then said she’ll happily change suppliers – waited for them to get all the paperwork out and then said – if you can find my gas supply….

she didnt have one

and her friend ended up agreeing to a consultation to double glazing callers after tons of calls – he lives on a boat :laugh_at:

the low paid folk in the call centres covertly sell on your data. A load of people have just been busted by the Information Commissioner for doing this.
