Nice one Raj.

I’ve got an appointment with my key worker and SNP tomorrow. To be honest with you I’ve relapsed and I’ve been having a toot recently.:cry:

But I’m re-starting on a subutex programme tomorrow so hopefully it’s only been a small hiccup.

I’m a tad stressed out ATM because I’ve only got 4 weeks until I’ve got to find a permanent abode (which isn’t easy it seems). Hopefully tomorrows appt. can help me with the ‘flat finding mission’.

I’ve stopped “H” with subutex coz it’s so disgusting that u stop take this shit after one or two years.I’ve try all treatment like metodone or all kind of morphine”sulphats” during ten years,but it was like “H” and sometimes worst.

I’ve never been to hospital coz i saw too many people try and try again for the same result as beginning.may be it does work for people who really decided to stop,may be if they try outdoor it would be the same.the problem of hospital is that it’s “easy” to stop in a microcosm,but the world outdoor is wating for u .the one thing u can be shure of is that u have to change your relations,and don’t be affraid to stay alone for the time you need.usualy,big health problems will show u the momment to stop(some people can stop,some other cannot), it’s easer at this time.

one last thing for young people, never use SUBUTEX and METHODONE in the same time, you can die very quickly 1 hour may be.you have to wait 24 hours between subutex and metodone.:crazy:

I didn’t mean to be rude before when I said WTF but what I think our friend means is;

if your switching over from methadone to subutex you have to wait until the mild WD’s from done set in, usually between 24&36 hours. But as for it being fatal if you mix the 2????????

No! Just VERY uncomfortable.

in fact get a new number and only give it out to those you are 100% certain support your cleanup; dont want you to end up back on that stuff:cry::cry::cry:

[keep the old one for them to ring and never ever answer the calls]

When you switch over from H/methadone to subutex it takes a few days for it to start working properly. Something to do with it’s antagonist/agnostic behaviour. Really when you take subutex the more you take the less effect it as. So less is more if you understand what I mean! So to answer your question Raj, it does give you insomia for a few days until it’s fully kicked in. I’m gonna do it this time i can feel it:wink:

Had my third dose of 2mg of subutex at 4am. Didn’t sleep a wink last night but the uncomfortable side fx’s of ‘chest pains and racing pulse’ seem to be subsiding. Thank God! Will take another 2mg at 4pm and then I should be ok with the daily dose of 4mg. Gonna do it this time and lead an opiate free life for the first time since 1993.:wink:
