Yes I am doing some of the production(mostly only check ups in streets, but the whole thing on Final-Party) together with some mates….

Thursday it was an estimate of 140 000 people partying in the streets of Nørrebro, look here in FFW, hove a square been filled black with people in two minutes;

…as for me ATM I getting ready to clear out the Final Party, it was wilder, louder and and probably the best that it have ever been.

Even though the weather was cold and it was situated a bit out-side the center of Copenhagen it was packed with partyheads that was allowed to party hard. We had the ambulance flying in and out a couple of times (one broken leg + some too wasted people(with not so good friends which had left them in a freezing cold weather) and two (damn)GHB-incidents). So I had to do rounds with the police to calm them down a bit….

and look here;

when the evening and darkness came ‘the flying-raverbus’ was lit up by a water cooled lazer in vertigo coulours….

We didn’t clear this with the owner of the property, at first they were not very pleased so we offered to paint it over, but a sudden change of mind they told us to let it stay and they asked for the artists contacts, looks like they now want more pieces, COOL ehh?

BTW the coppers have stated that we(Distortion) are an example to follow, no big accidents, no big incidents of violence and they welcome us back next year…..ahhh all that looove lol

had a look in my town (on both land map and the set of marine charts) as the geography is in fact near identical (even to the extent that where you have the “kattegat” we call that area “cathouse point” although in our case the cat belonged to a smuggler who lived in the cat house (it would wait in the window for smugglers vessels to arrive). The old story was that he put the cat in the window when there was no douane, but you would not see a leopard at the window from the middle of the river. more likely he lit a lamp, which would have used oil and been warm, and a cat would take advantage of this…

Today this point is a reporting point for all ships. But the bit place we could have used for a party like that in the area is where Anglian water put the sewage works. And it does pong! you do not want to be anywhere near that area :yakk: nor on the beaches nearby.

No wonder folk in DK, NO, NL etc call us English backward!

funny you should mention sewage work…the neighbor of this old ship yard is a sewage work lol

that is impressive – especially as the Council and promoters swallowed the costs of hoisting a entire bus aloft to hold a party in ( I dread to think what the risk assesment for that would look like if they ever allowed it in UK!)

that said the area by my favourite pub is up for development (old brewery) and it is a identical dockside to where this event happened 😉
