the badger did run off but i think its days are numberd! me a friend and the dog were waliking through a lane and the badger came pelting it round the corner, the lane was sooo thin there was no room for left or rights and the badger just clatterd into the dog, the dog locked on to the badger stright away and the badger like wise, there was no way we could tear them apart, unless i put me fingers up the dogs bum, so i opted to kick the shit out of the badger, luckily it worked!
i never want to do it again though!
if i had a dog i like to think that i would put the effort into training it properly so it dont run off!

there are loads round your way and Swindon as well. I even read in some random place that Western Power Distribution coat all their underground leccy cables in Stockholm Tar (and had to get a special dispensation to use this stuff as its a EU restricted chemical now) as badgers hate the stuff, but otherwise they start unearthing 11 000V cables which isn’t good to anyone (including the badgers!)
There’s a fair few here too, one weekend (a day after getting my bike serviced) i had to brake from 20mph as one ran out straight in front of me. if I had hit it at that speed I would certainly been pitched off my bicycle and at the very least busted my collarbone.
Where I work there is a protected area because of badgers (not seen any yet though..)
just got back from a dog walk, fuckers got fully soaked even their heads today in proper dirt water!! they just can’t help themselves.
Have 1 dog, soon to be 2. Walk twice a day, with him and 5 other dogs that are part of his pack, for about an hour each time. It’s not that often it bothers me but it’s sometimes tricky at 6 on a pitch black, freezing cold, wet winters morning. Mind you, walking along the beach and dunes in almost complete darkness can be a laugh sometimes.
