yep. Like about a third of my mates from high school days what started as old skool ravers.
Many turn to dealing both as well as robbing stuff to fund their habits.
OK most don’t die (unless killed in gang-related incidents) and eventually “sort themselves out” but they cause pain to themselves, their families and cost the public purse fuck loads of money,
and if they have any sort of criminal record it is extremely difficult to get jobs. Doesn’t matter if they later on go uni and get a degree (and some unis refuse to take on people with records now, there is a CRB type check on UCAS form!), employers still won’t take them on
and every person what goes down this route hardens the attitudes of those in power and reinforces the anti-drugs laws..
