Hi all, first post on here so first up just like to say g’day and it’s great to be on here, been having a lurk and some really interesting discussion going on.
Before I share some of my Crystal Meth experiences I will just say that after several years of recreational drug use, E, Pot, Acid, Speed etc.. I was introduced to Crystal meth and in the space of a couple of years of use I ended up hopelessly addicted, it almost ended my life but looking back I have no regrets, met some great geezas and geezettes and had a blast. Just got a little carried away.
When you see a list of the possible items used in manufacture in the small scale operations it does look a little dodgy, but something to bear in mind is that the end product is not a mixture of those components. Through the wonders of chemistry an entirely new compound is manufactured and if done correctly with a good focus on the washing aspects of the proccess all the undesirable bits including the red phosphorus are removed and or converted during the process. No doubt there is a heap of shit out there though so be aware of that I guess and look for quality.
I found the effects of Ice vary greatly depending on the method of ingestion, initially I crushed the Crystal Meth up (under a flattened out bank note, with a credit card is the best method) and snorted it. This method produces an intense rush and you will be charging all night, great for dancing and you soon forget how much it hurts, almost like inhaling glass lol
The latter part of my Meth journey had me smoking it in a glass pipe, this is by far the best way to go, the rush is far less intense and a great deal more euphoric. Huge electric chills in your lower body and a massive body buzz, the actual smoking proccess is a lot of fun, watching it melt and vaporise in the pipe along with the subsequent re-crystallisation is hypnotic and it is very moreish when smoked. You find yourself wanting to smoke more and more even though you do not get any higher.
Never did meth intravenously however my older brother was a real junkie and although slamming it is the most intense way to experience it seeing the ravages on him I never felt like trying it.
Pound for pound Ice makes Cocaine look like icing sugar, it lasts longer is better value for money and in my opinion makes you feel a lot better.
Be careful if you do decide to give it a crack, although Crystal Meth feels like a miracle drug at first: It banishes fatigue and illness and you literally feel like a million bucks it can rapidly go from a bit of fun on the weekend to a 7 day a week habit like it did with me.
By the time I quit meth I had to smoke it to do anything, even just to get out of bed, you become a slave to the chemical. It can damage your teeth and gums (meth mouth) but I was pretty lucky and escaped pretty much unscathed.
It’s a lot of fun but like all thing use it in moderation and keep it on the weekends only, no matter how tired you are on Monday morning after a massive weekend on the gear don’t have a little toke/line just to get through work no matter how great an idea it seems at the time, thats how the road to disaster starts.
