My friend lies to me… she says she’s been taking crystal meth… what 2 years… she’s a size 12-14, looks healthy, not really fucked up…. still has a home and a job….

iv not come across crystal meth yet and i dont kno ne1 hu has either, thankfuly, but from wot iv read its seems pretty likely to become a MAJOR problem for the uk,

as for ur friend insanity it doesnt sound like shes been on it, it has a very noticeable effect on users which im sure wud b hard to miss!:crazy:

base ( a stronger form of normal amfetamine) is often sold as “crystal meth” particularly by dealers in the London area

meth was on the streets in the 1960s/70s when the first generation hippies were about, and overuse of this and normal speed gave rise to the slogan “speed kills” (it wasn’t a road safety campaign!)

I’ve often wondered about the lyrics of this old 60s song..

i read a report on crystal meth a while ago and the effects it had on a small american town.sounds messed up,but when they described what emediate effects it had sounded good to me,then i read the long term effects it causes and rapidly changed my opinion on the stuff.steering well clear is damn good advice mate.

Ahhh you see this is when i worry, my brother uses drugs in reading also he picks up from london!

he does all kind of crazy shit! and it freaks me out thinking what he is doing!

he has anger issues and we all try to tell him he needs to see someone but he does’nt listen!
he has been arrested several times as well and is on his final warning!
i really not sure how to talk to him because then he gets angry and gets abusive!
i love him to bits but there is only so much i can do

when I was that age I was doing too much drugs TBH and although I wasn’t abusive to my family I would be quite angry if challenged and it was only the risk of prison which stopped me getting deeper into crime or anti-social behavior…

if he is doing amfetamine type stimulants (pills, speed, base) in quantity he will be suffering mood swings after heavy use, you cannot avoid them…..

I hope he realises eventually what he is doing to himself and his family..

And however hard you think you are, prison is shit.

lots of my mates have done a stretch and even if you can stand up to the bullies, it is boring and a loss of the best time in your life to the system when you could be doing other better things – it fucks up your life as well after you are out when you do want to calm down as few employers will take on ex offenders.

I’ve only been arrested a few times and always got cautions, but even then it causes problems when you need to apply for jobs as lots of places check up now for previous – not just CRB but by other means such as private investigators.

I had to declare my cautions for the job I do now; still got the job but if there was more competition it could have been harder…

Prison was the only thing that ever gave me a reason to stop selling bad shit. U sometimes dont see in yourself until its far to late and uve lost lots of ure friends.

Try asking people around him 2 have words with him, sometimes a sisters opion wont cut the mustard whereas one of peers opions would. U have to give ure bro time and let him no that ure proud of him when he makes that huge step away from a dark culture……………….

yeah and if he is below 21 he will go to YOI, Reading and Feltham are harsh places – harsher than anything else he is currently going through.

Also its not only just the people who go to HMP who lose their freedom in the end; every one elses life gets restricted by the nanny state when they see us behaving like stupid kids…
