It has been seen here in and around London mainly – the experiences below the cautionary notes subtitle in the first post are all from UK based users.

All of them said they wouldnt do it a second time knowingly and these are extremely experienced users of other chemicals found on the party scene.

Strikes me that a bit of information about it may come in useful as it is relatively easy to overdose as an inexperienced user and the side effects are nasty. And before this thread it was hard to find all the information in one place without any overt scare tactics and moralizing attached.

Crystal meth is evil, lethal, brutal and comes with a comedown that’s like caustic razorwire cutting through your soul. We’ve a bit of a Tik problem down here in SA, especially in the Cape. Users here call it Tik ‘cos of the ticking noise it makes when smoked thru a bulb….which is the most popular way it’s taken in the ghetto’s round the Cape Town area…it’s cheap and freely available and it’s taking whole communities down here, as elsewhere in the world. I was once given a line of it masquerading as coke…that’ll be the last of that shit I touch.
It’s evil, truly evil and even the most hardened crackheads I know reckon it’s one way to guarantee the onset of psychosis. So screw that.
Life’s enough of a challenge without throwing this crap in the mix.

It doesnt have ANY medical uses.

Amphetamines were synthesised and are used for weight loss/narcolepsy.

Methamphetamine is purely synthetic as Raj says.
