                hope folk had a good time – impressive to see GPS coordinates being used for smartphones

                BTW for those who haven’t seen this before they are in decimal lat/long format.

                Unfortunately in England we aren’t always as “international” as we should be, there are folk round my way who would have tried dialling them, and because it was posted by someone called german would have just put 00 in front of the number. Then spent the weekend moaning about the partyline “being all in foreign” and looking for the village between “Kein Anschluss” and “diese Nummer”.

                Dread to think what would happen if we still sent these folk to sea, they would get hopelessly lost and then try to call the Czech coastguard for help 😉
