What to expect in the Pusherstreet of da Freetown;
more picts here;
woah!
Sinner took me to Christiana, amazing place! It’s a shame I don’t smoke ganja anymore as sinner pointed out to me whilst there lol. They do make their own beer though what’s really nice.
I’m guessing them pics are “official” and by the residents? 😉
The pictures are taken by a photographer(Martin Lehmann) that was invited…the pushers want to pay tax of their sales, so they have legalize campaign going on…..normally you get your camera smashed when you try to use it in Pusherstreet, there are big signs saying no camera allowed, like this;

Yeah they did seam very serious about it, I remember someone getting told off and shouted at for bringing a camera out. As it’s still illegal to smoke cannabis and sell it, it makes sense as it could incriminate a fair few people just by taking one photo.

The irony of that picture, lol
I don’t know why they don’t put up similar signs, “Crooks only – no Law here”.
I read some articles about a politician trying to visit Christiana and PET (DK Security Service, similar to MI5 in Britain) hacked into her diary to try and create some situation where she couldn’t go there with the rest of a group (she did anyway); but the links to the news sites were expired. What was all that about?
try and paste the link in google translate and the whole page will translate

If you use firefox there are a few addons that can translate any text you highlight on a webpage with a right-click. I imagine you can add similar functionality to chrome but dunno as I don’t use it.

thanks – that fits in with the other info I found. I will have to cut and paste that text into Word and then send it to Google Translate as the article is split into sections but thats not a great hassle (I can work out a lot of the text converting it into NL).
do the DK politi normally use bull terriers as service dogs; or has the policeman got stoned and picked up the wrong dog (it does look a bit perplexed by the whole situation) It could be a drugs dog but its not as if they need to prove that there could be drugs there :laugh_at:
I think it belongs to one of the residents. But the Danish Police and Airport Police use a lot of different dogs. And so does the British Police.
