Right, so for all you who didn’t know (the majority i think..) i’m a budding chef as well as a fuckload of ther stuff. I have many fingers in many different pies so to speak :weee:
Anyways, for this recipe you will need:
An oil high in fats (I use Extra virgin olive oil, as it tastes better, and is healthier but with a high fat content) But you can also use vegtable oil/coconut oil.
An oven proof dish (Preferably quite small)
Tinfoil
An oven (Da fuq you here for if you don’t have an oven?)
Some buds (I use 0.5-1g, but i’d reccomend starting at 1g and using that as a benchmark as it is highly dependent on your tolerance. I’ve use 0.5 before and got so couchlocked i could barely move. Used 1g and i passed out and woke up insanely fucking high so i just laid in my garden listening to deep house in the sun.. just try it!)
1. Preheat an oven to 120 celsius.
2. Grind the buds and place in your ovenproof dish. Put tinfoil over the top tightly, so that no vapours etc. can escape.
3. Place in the oven for atleats 20 minutes. The longer the better, as this is the decarboxylation stage which turns inert forms of the THC into actual THC, increasing the potency.
4. Remove buds after desired amount of time. Leave for ~5 minutes to cool down and allow vapours to settle.
5. Add oil – just enough to cover the bud, plus a little bit more to take into account what will be lost. (I figure more is better then less.. although don’t use to much as it will diliute it)
6. Turn oven to 160 celisus, add the oven dish (With tinfoil on it tight once again) and leave to cook for 30/40 mins.
7. Remove an allow to cool – keeping the tinfoil on top again.
I’ve personally eaten it with;
Noodles, Ravioli and plain. By far it was much nicer with the noodles & sweet chilli sauce. It tastes like absoloute fucking shit, be warned.
You CAN strain it, but personally i just eat the bud cause why the fuck not.
I used to do the same thing but with butter and then use the re-solidified butter to make any recipe that calls for it (so brownies etc).
Yeah that’s the most common way of doing it, but in my opinion at least this is more potent then any brownies i’ve ever made; although you do lose out taste wise and also the novelty of eating weed brownies.
