No, the best thing is to buy a wrap of MDMA. If it comes in a nice, sparkly, crystally form, and taste slighty like Aniseed, you probably have some nice MD. If it looks like fine powder, I’d be more careful.

Be careful with pills too. More often that not, large-scale production pills usual contain cutting agents such as PMA and Piperazines.

Ok, crystals and powder it is. Will the test also show other things added to Ecstacy? I’m sure it’s not all 100% pure or is it?

The test will trigger on the largest ingredient. It should show up a non MDMA or grossly contaminated pill (one that could make you unwell) but might be less reliable when there is MDMA but a quantity of another chemical.

However it is more common to either get weak MDMA pills or pills with a different (sometimes more dangerous) substance than MDMA pills mixed with a particularly dangerous contaminant.

pills are very ‘hit and miss.’ people think that with mdma, because you see crystals that it gurantees purity, and it doesn’t, but it comes in a form that is easier to identify than a pill, which could be anything. when i started taking e, i couldn’t get mdma and the quality of pills were very good, they would give you more energy than mdma, and were often more trippy and messy, which i liked. i think they may have had mda and amphetamine in them, maybe mdea also… but these days i dont trust them, and researchers at festivals found many pills dont contain any mdma.

sometimes if i get a new batch in, i’ll let my dog give ’em a test run… he actually prefers pills to mdma

In the 90s (until science improved) there were actually some horrendous animal experiments to test pills being openly discussed online, folk were buying bulk live mice (the sort what once got fed to snakes) and doing totally unregulated LD50 tests on them :yakk:

A lot of ravers I knew at the time who are veggies were quite shocked and dismayed by this, though I don’t think it happens today, someone caught doing this is more likely to get busted for animal cruelty as well, in any case its illegal to feed live mice to snakes as its also cruel to the snake and risky (sometimes the mouse wins, and snakes aren’t cheap!)

give him something for the comedown?… maybe some diazepam… mine was more into mxe for comedowns, but he was a spaniel…

I have no idea but both the terms annoy me. I’m not the only one, right?
