  • its all about being able to make music for several hours straight without crashes and restarts, its the first computer in over 10 years that hasnt given me any problems. it cost me 3 times as much as a PC but i can afford it so why not. i wouldnt bother for general use though its definitely a specialist item

    usually read the online Guardian.

Stopped buying the paper one in the 1990s when our pet cats grew up, as whilst the Home / World news and particularly crime reporting of the Guardian is excellent, the pretentious arts and style section was fit only to line the kittens’ litter tray. (at least an environmentally friendly use of it).

agreed mate, the arts section doesnt get a look-in from me, its up its own arse, the sports section is pretty poor too, but yeah the current affairs stuff its top notch. i read the mornin star too and whilst it has some great articles its all a bit negative and not very pragmatical about change. i cant decide what i am anymore, either a socialist or a social democrat probably

ever read the independent? that and the Guardian are the ones I like, though dont read them very often, BBC News website always draws me in

I like the look of mac’s, dont know how to use em though

My old man bought himself a Mac a couple of months ago, then again he has recently had a bit of a thing for apples… I quite like using them, I cant see why people get so opinionated for either side of the arguement to tbh.

Suppose its nice if you can afford it, I will stick to my PC I think

I am happy to just look at a mac but hate using them – too often have desperate mac users asked if i could fix them {used to fix PCs for a living} and the answer is NO:laugh_at:

the independant isn’t too bad but whilst its socially liberal it constantly defends free market economics

bbc is excellent, the have your say section is full of absolute idiots though

i also used bbc because all i have to do is press n, and then press enter. shimples.
