Don’t we use only 10% of our brains? Imagine if we were running at 100%.
this is a misnomer, we only use 10% of our brain most of the time because the rest of our brain is either long term memory we are not currently accessing, or ’empty space’ reserved for future memory. People use a much higher percentage of their data processing capacity in their day to day lives, but our ‘dynamic core’ of consciousness darts around our brain depending on what we are attending too and what memories are relevant. Using all our brain at once would not be useful, and the current model of conscioussness considers it to be impossible too (hence why people can only concentrate on a few things at a time)
ahem, area of great interest to me so im well read on this one 😉

Could probably kill a goat by staring at it.
clooneys on it!

Thanks for clearing that up,.
Here’s one for you dude, Sometimes I’ll think of a song and then can’t stop singing it in my head.
Is this normal or have I gone mental?

heh earworms.. totally normal 😉
as for why.. appeal of music to humans is one of the things that has always interested me.. can only presume it’s the desire for complexity and stimulation, and when there’s none around our brain just loops around the last thing we heard

I think you may be right, It only happens when I am at work. Never happens at home. 😉

true but you’re definately not using it to its capacity to stay alive and its well known that braintraining exercises and general stimulation improve brain function
Your not using it to its full capacity no, I just meant you would be surprised how complex a task walking down a street is while thinking about what’s for dinner. Depends how you define “general stimulation” I guess but I would leave the car battery alone 😉
A good example of a physical change is those London cab drivers who have a larger hippocampal complex than normal folk. Weriod to think you can actually see that a part of their brain is actually larger than normal folks.

damn I hate that, why is it always some pop shite too!

just goats?

Or anyone I didn’t like. I wouldn’t kill them though. No that would be a tad too harsh.
No, I’d just click my fingers and make them shit themselves.

you’re right.
i’ve heard that brain training is not gonna make you smarter and scoring higher in IQ tests but i reckon that memory games, speed or simple mathematical games can make you more sharp. in fact, maths you will need every day or your life. so that’s me now: doing some daily brain games. hehe- feelin better already
GOOD!

It wont necessarily increase the ‘top capacity’ of your IQ which is limited by the complexity of the neural connections in your brain, but if you practice a wide variety problem solving you will still perform better on IQ tests than if you didnt
Also memory is not exactly separate from the problem solving ‘attention’ part of your conscioussness they are completely interconnected and meaningless without each other – improving your short and long term memory will improve your pattern recognition and problem solving

sorry, what? :hopeless:
best cid ive ever done has been clear liquid. how do you think they make the blotters? think the main reason you find a lot of liquid now is that people cant be fucked with making up tabs as its slightly more technical than just dumping it on a suger cube or on your tongue. also getting caught with a bottle you can say its personal, you get caught with 100 tabs, possibly a different story. who knows now tho seems some people can get caught with massive amounts and blag personal, while some get caught with small amounts and get done for intent and go down for having ten pills on them… bizare.:you_crazy
Only ever seen good liquid acid a couple of times, have nt seen a decent blotter or microdot in this country for a while either. They make tabs by disolving the cyrstal in a solvent them soaking the paper. People buy a bottle of acid then dilute it just enough to get a buzz but not enough to twist you. Admittedly i have been out of the loop for a while and all my old contacts have moved on or died. I know there are still some good drugs around but i have to drive half the length of the country to get some. There used to be a lot of really nice acid about but it seems to have dried up a bit, same as the md. I think the problem may have started when people began obviously skanking each other with blotters that either hadn’t been dipped or had dried out. The liquid thing has always been a bit gimmicy to me, some people think that cos its in liquid form its purer or more stronger, but it is just easier to dilute and therefore easier to make more money. Acid used to do more than just give me a bit of a silly grin and a slightly tingly head.
But i did get given a squirt at a party on the isle of wight a few years ago that took my fucking head off. I had to hide in the van for most of the night lost control of my arms and knew what it felt like to be a sea anenomae. Proper job.
I’ve had 2 drips of liquid acid before and the walls were covered in tribal patterns all night, walls melting, legs looked like an ocean, friends look like aliens, 1 tv turned into 4….. Good night. long live the liquid.

the reason a lot of cid is diluted so much is cause some people cant handle a strong trip especially in a party environment, this is why it gets diluted down to ‘party acid’
you can still get liquid that is straight from the crystal, keep looking!
