I think you’ll find that unlikely. The plant itself I agree they would have difficulty banning but they did it with cannabis and mushrooms. They have seized ayijiasca, not because it was illefal but on the basis it contained DMT. These people are cunts and don’t forget it.
After all khat was just banned wasn’t it which shocked many people (if they did ban it n I didn’t imagine it).

You seem to be under the illusion that they do these things for our benefit and safety but you only have to look at how far they have gone to eradicate nuts which are far more of a worryingf thing for many people. In that instance they seemed to think putting “may contain nuts” on everything edible is good enough for that.
