I tend to go on my own but meet up with people at places (especially here as EA is big and my friends all live in different towns and villages often some distance away).

Done it loads, always speak to randomers feelin the music and vibe as much as me! pretty much most of my closest mates i met at partys, in brighton it’s the norm! 🙂

I know lots of guys who have gone out on their own. But as a girl I would feel weird doing it. I’d love to go to drum ‘n bass and dubstep shows here but I don’t know anyone who would be interested.

I went to see shy FX play a couple of weekends back on my own, nobody I know likes jungle round here so had to be done. sniffed too much K at one point and k holed in the club ha ha

Yeah don’t go on your own. I’m all down for equality an all but there’s still some things girls shouldn’t do on their own. 😉

i never go to a club on my own fair enuf i get lost frm my mates a lot and you do get talking to a loada randomers but if you meet a chick and u go back with them theyl think ur a bit weird for going out clubbing on your own lol

Not so sure. Being on your own, and not with a group of guys, can make you much easier to approach, and being able to spark up conversations with strangers shows confidence. Or maybe I’ve just been kidding myself :hopeless:

if ur over 30 i guess it must be a bit weird. i dont know that many people over 30 that go clubbin anymore even with mates tbh.

I’ve been to raves solo, but never a mainstream club… an exponential amount more people are concerned about picking up there, and as a girl that makes it quite a bit more dodgy. I don’t want to have to bother having to ward of those strangers who hit on any lone girl. I just want to dance and feel good, mannnnnn.

Hey I have the same problem, I love most kinds of raves, mixed genre, illegals, legals, oldskool & drum & bass, but all my local mates only go to a certain type of rave and generally cant afford to travel far for legal events or they dont like drum & bass or sum other excuse, so sometime I go raving on my own, which is cool cos ya meet so many safe people at raves, its not a problem, the worst part is coming home messy on the train on ya own tryin to act normal 😉

Very much doubt it’d go to a club alone ever, unless I was certain my friends would be about somewhere and there’s never a chance in hell i’d go to a rave solo..
