  • Just found a link to here on the Dragon Festival links page. So wondered if anyone was going?

    Looks like we’ll be taking a rig down there and will probably have free sets if anyone’s going anyway……..

    Up for linking up and making a massive UK system? Depends on whether me and the crew can gather up the money but would be phat to show them how we do it!

    were thinkin of takin a couple of k, dependin on passports and the truck……….

    TBH my mates have got the whole set up sorted. There will be a big UK one as well- been talking to some guys on SJ about it. But if anyone wants to bring records along, there’ll be sets going free………

    how long would it take to drive there do you recon?

    we’re looking at costs of petrol compared to flights, were thinking of getting a big mini bus for french tek and could use it for dragon fest

    some mates went couple of years ago n sounds well good, doubt we’l be doing it this year as plenty of other stuff wana do this summer as funds allow! def one I’d like to do next year though

    From Suffolk its 1,450 odd miles. Petrol/Diesel is cheaper the closer you get to Southern Spain, but we reckon its still costing the best part of £1000 for each van (but they are stacked full of equipment, etc). According to Googlemaps its 23 hours of driving time.

    Flights to Granada are £100-200 depending on when you fly. So if you’re got a full mini van it’ll probably work out cheaper.

    Also have a look at getting a ferry for most of the journey it could work out even cheaper then, like the south of france or maybe even to spain
