A dark update to this years dragon, which was a belter, 4 of the landowners who refused to let their land be destroyed and let the dragon happen ( me included) are being taken to court and are being handed huge fines ( circa 30,000 euros each). clearly we are fighting it but that means money and as it’s a free festi none of us do it for the money, money is an issue. At the final count if we can’t pay any fines the local authority will take our land,. which they are quite happy to do. In fact without being paranoid, the local authority want both me and meoto out of orgiva as we are both dragon stalwarts and believe in it strongly.All this should be on the official web site but for some reason isn’t.Anyone got any ideas that can help us 4 so we don’t lose our land for believing in and supporting this amazing festi. alex b
