hmmm, not even sure whether Easttek is going to happen this year. have spoken to a few people in the know and nothing about EASTTEK has been mentioned officially. something will definatly happen tho around the weekends of the 15th or 22nd of July.

If anyone hears anything please give me a shout. ill be in Berlin from the 8th of July and will be looking for things to do!!

it really doesnt look good for a teknival in east germany . around july 15th will be that one …::: TEKKNOOST.DE :::… ~ 15/17.07.2011 – dreipunkteins – elementary network festival – Seite 1
involves 3 soundsystem from east germany – so my guess, no easttek on that weekend.

OK no big teknival but 3 day party near Drebkau with 3 rigs for €10 + some (€5?) fee to do with trash collection(??) Not exactly a disaster?

I don’t know the background as I’m not sure where to look for good info and my German has got a bit rusty but it might be that the 3 soundsystems they have made a compromise with the authorities and have been allowed to have this party instead of (illegal?) easttek – in England this happens but you would pay about €200 for entry for the same party, and cops would be everywhere, so they allow this legal party for €10 it doesn’t seem so bad..

I’m planning a trip to Berlin in July, it’s my birthday on the 15th. Stopping off in Amsterdam first to get some supplies..

I was hoping to go mental at EasTek, but as you say, it doesn’t look promising. Might check out this network festival, if nothing else comes up??

Jus me and my mate Honey travelling. Looking forward to some much needed madness and mayhem! :bounce_g:

Aye its to stop spammers, but i’ve mentioned to 2 of the mods, one which can vouch for me! I’ll jus have to be patient :p

I haven’t booked any flights or accommodation yet, still waiting to hear back definite yes’s and stuff from friends. Might even end up going solo, but i don’t mind 🙂

I’ve got a friend booked up for the Vuuv who i might meet up with, but i doubt i’ll attend the festy, as im more into the harder stuff :bounce_fl

Is there anywhere you would recommend staying? I’ve been to Amsterdam before, but never to Germany.

Would like to check out this network party, or some sort of tekn0 free party or happening thats are going on??

Meeting up would be great! 😀
