It seems WAY more likely that you had DXM in your pill than heroin. DXM, short for dextromethorphan, is a dissociative similar to ketamine and PCP. It’s the stuff in cough syrup that keeps you from coughing, and it’s also found in a lot of crappy Ecstasy pills. Many people intentionally take DXM-only cough syrups/pills for the psychedelic effects, but when it’s found in street pills it’s usually a nasty surprise.
I’ve taken DXM twice–only once where it did much of anything–and I’m more or less familiar with the effects. A person on the second plateau or higher would likely look pretty dopey and would have difficulty standing up and moving. I know that I definitely looked sedated, and while standing up and moving was fun, it felt like I was on small stepping stones. Someone who’d taken any more DXM than I did would definitely have trouble moving and would probably feel very “out of their body” as well–though if you’re not expecting it this might just strike you as being “really fucked up”.
As for heroin, well, I’ve never tried that, so I can’t speak to the effects, but supposedly it’s a very long orgasmic feeling originating near the stomach; “pleasant nausea” is how many describe it. Well, I’ve had body highs from marijuana that made me so dopey I wondered if there’d been anything in the weed. I had moments on DXM where I loved the feeling of falling/drifting and simultaneously felt like throwing up. Point being: to someone who’s never tried heroin, other drugs can easily produce effects that might be mistaken for being opiate-like. The substance also smells very strange. *hint*
Heroin in Ecstasy is largely agreed upon by drug users to be an urban myth. In the history of ecstasydata.org, they have only found ONE pill that contained any heroin.

As noted on the page, the pill looks VERY fake (like someone sent it in as a joke). The pressing sucks, the labeling sucks, and the ingredients suggest that someone pulled some stuff out of their medicine cabinet and mixed it with some heroin.
Or maybe you had some Special K in your pill. It’s also found in Ecstasy pills. But speaking from my experience–which doesn’t include that substance–DXM is probably what you took.
